A super fast and efficient CAD/CAM solution with AI superpowers
Dustform is a browser-based tool for carpenters and woodworkers. Traditional CNC workflows split the process into two phases: CAD for drawing the part, CAM for generating the tool paths. Dustform combines both into a single interface.
An AI agent is built into the application. You can describe a shape, ask it to move or modify elements, and it acts directly on the model. The tool path updates as you work. The project started as a personal experiment in whether that two-step workflow could actually be collapsed without sacrificing precision, and got to a working prototype before development paused.
